What is the difference between all these CAC systems?

Year by year we all become more demanding of comfort around us. Nowadays air conditioning is ordinary equipment of commercial property, ranging from small shops and cafes to large office buildings, public spaces and shopping malls.

To meet these diverse applications, air conditioning systems have different types, capacities and supplied with bunch of options.

Among all variety of commercial air conditioning main types are:

  • Single Split System
  • Multi-Split System
  • VRF System

They all use the same basic technology. However, they have very different applications, so it’s important to define which one best suits customer needs.

Single split systems are suitable for use in small commercial buildings. They provide heating and cooling of individual rooms, making them ideal solutions for small offices, shops, cafes etc.

Also could be used in combination to serve larger spaces and multiple rooms. The only disadvantage is that they need enough external space to have one outdoor unit for every indoor unit.

To defeat this flaw were invented multi-split systems. Multi-split systems are often considered by property owners who lack the space to place single-split systems, or who want to keep their building’s aesthetic appeal.

Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning systems are used to provide heating and cooling of medium and large commercial properties. VRF systems types are capable of simultaneously heating one area while cooling another.
